WHAT ARE YOUR TRAVEL COSTS AND EXPENSES?
Travel is calculated at 50p per mile from Oxfordshire, OX10. Expenses such as parking, congestion charges etc. charged at cost.
WHO OWNS THE IMAGE COPYRIGHT
The copyright of an image is retained by myself as the photographer.
CAN I SHARE THE FINAL IMAGES WITH THIRD PARTIES
Anyone wishing to use the images outside of the company that commissioned the shoot will need to purchase them at the following rates.
- 1-10 images – £50 per image
- 11-20 images – £40 per image
- 21+ images – £30 per image
Can I use the images for editorial purposes (magazine articles, publications etc.)
Yes, you are able to purchase editorial rights of all your high resolution images selected for £300. You are then free to send these to as many publications as you would like.
Copyright is still retained by the photographer and should be credited wherever used.
Should a magazine offer to pay the photographer directly, the above charge will be dropped.
What happens if I send my images on for editorial purposes but have not paid the £300?
Within the contract you sign, it will make you aware that you will be charged a double fee of £600 in this instance. This fee is non-negotiable and payable immediately.
TRAVEL DAY RATE?
£250. Travel rate only applies to locations that cannot be accessed on the same day as the shoot.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE SHOOT OVERRUNS?
In the event the shoot overruns, additional hours will be charged at £100p/h.
IMAGE TURN AROUND TIME?
Please allow up to two weeks for the images.
Do I need to pay a deposit
A non-refundable deposit is to be paid at time of booking. 1/3 of the total cost.
The remaining amount is to be paid before the release of the edited images.
Deposit non transferable between shoots.
HOW DO I SELECT THE IMAGES I WANT?
The images will be uploaded to a password protected online gallery for you to view and select your images. Additional images (over the included amount) charged at £30 each.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT SOMETHING REMOVED FROM A PHOTO IN POST PRODUCTION?
Removal of objects, changing colours of items etc is not included in the day rate and is charged at £100p/h.
